Based in the vibrant and legendary tech and biotech entrepreneurial hub of San Francisco, our team brings an extensive 50 combined years of training, expertise and experience in the drug discovery and chemistry services outsourcing space.
Academic trainings in a variety of universities including University of Delhi; Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur; Indiana University, Bloomington; Rutgers-The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick; Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis; and University of California Berkeley.
Professional trainings and experiences include a medicinal chemistry career on a variety of disease targets and drug discovery platforms at pharmaceutical companies Wyeth and Pfizer in Boston; and US National Laboratories based in Berkeley and Menlo Park, California covering subject matter expertise in structural biology, biophysics, chemistry and structure-, fragment- and AI-Based Drug Discovery (SBDD, FBDD, AIDD) gained by working on the structure-function analysis and drug discovery of a broad range of proteins and drug targets including kinases, proteases, antibody-antigen complexes, nuclear receptors, ubiquitin ligases, methylases, polymerases, microbiome enzymes, membrane proteins, and transcription factors.
More recent work experience includes Business Development (BD) in life sciences, building territories in North America in both informatics and CRDMO sector companies based out of US, Europe, China and India; and founding and building drug discovery startups in San Francisco with international collaborations and CRO relationships.
Additional team members have, for example, extensive academic training and over 20 years of expertise in medicinal chemistry in drug discovery in oncology, immunology, anti-infective and neuroscience therapeutic areas at large, medium and small biopharma companies in the US and UK, with expertise in advancing programs from initiation to IND studies and beyond and authorship/inventorship on about 150 papers and patents.
